Jean-Marc Goudet

Jean-Marc is a medical doctor specialized in public health and finishing his PhD in sociology of health. His doctoral research at EHESS Paris focused on the social production of psychological disorders in the school context. He conducted ethnographic research that combined an anthropology of kinship and social uses of disorders.

His side interests during his PhD, lead him to various collective research. He worked on the effects of the environment on the health of professionals (PSL University) and the link between mobilities of populations and economics of territories in France (ENS Paris).

As a recipiend of the CN2R postdoctoral award, his research will explore the effect of climate change on children’s mental health. He is an avid explorer of night scenes and an art lover. When time allows, he enjoys analysing tricky minds and keeping plants alive.
